The Kanienkehaka (people of the flint) along with other First Nations people were the original workers/traders of Turtle Island (North America). Our people travelled the waterways to trade with other First Nations communities., then later with Europeans who arrived on Turtle Island.
Our Story
Our logo encompasses this history as well as my family’s image. The canoe represents what we used to travel the waterways, and the three individuals are our three children.
Kahnawake Mohawk Stevedore was founded in 2018, we returned to our roots of the original traders/workers on the rivers and lakes of Turtle Island. We have quickly earned a reputation in ports throughout Quebec, Ontario and New York State. This was achieved by the values of hard work, professionalism and respect.
